Ju$t Jill’s “Won’t Take It From Me” is the second music video from her latest album, “WomanHood“. This nine-minute cinematic video features Nancia and was inspired by the 1991 movie Thelma & Louise. The Jay Hunt directed video showcases sisterhood and freedom as Jill and Nancia leave behind their stressful lives to embark on a journey on the open road.
“Nancia, Jay Hunt, and I put a lot of thought and preparation into this video. We were going for a cinematic-styled video, so we did some acting for the first time. Our theme was a modern-day Thelma and Louise. I portrayed a more serious and in-charge character like Louise, while Nancia’s role was more bubbly and carefree like Thelma” says Jill.
