“This is a more than flawless rap banger with some dirty rhymes that will keep us engaged for a while”
Whitey Vulgar was created when Weymouth Massachusetts artist’s Deebs and Shawn Mics linked up in the studio to record a single off of Shawn’s album Another Day in Paradise. The two MC’s clicked and went on to record a few more songs before deciding to join forces under the umbrella of Whitey Vulgar, a spin off of South Boston’s mob boss Whitey Bulgar. The name was chosen based on his heinous crimes and this duo’s rhyme style is just that.
The first offense of the South Shore pair is a lyric video for Bag Pipe directed by Rose Glen Productions. “We wanted to take a step back from our normal Boom Bap derived rhyming and put a new twist on things while still rapping at a high technical level” says Shawn Mics. The track is produced by Corpse who creates a trap beat for the mcs to converse about dating focal points and the sequence of events that follow. Deebs spits the first verse and catchy chorus and Shawn Mics closes out big with the 2nd. Whitey Vulgar has a great sense of humor and shows that both MCs can still have fun while keeping it Hip Hop.
