XL The Beast (The Kreators) emerges out of a protracted creative process with a magnum opus album Heavy Hands. The project began in 2006 and was delayed due to various life conditions. “This started fifteen years ago when I was in fact a different person. Since then so much has taken place that it’s almost like a time capsule. There is music from the beginning right up to the current days. Its a decade and a half of experience, growth, successes, and failures” says XL. The LP is stacked with features and bonds he has established over the years including Sean Price & Rockness Monsta Of Heltah Skeltah, Slaine (La Coka Nostra), Skyzoo, Reks, Shabaam Sahdeeq, Esoteric (Czarface), Big Shug (Gang Starr Foundation), & More. The majority of the production is handled by New England staple The Arcitype with additional beats from Shuko, Domingo, Teddy Roxpin, Rain, and more. Not only has XL sharpened his lyrical skill like a samurai, he has also diversified his vocal ability with catchy singing choruses and haunting melodies. From Underground Hip Hop to just great songwriting, this diverse album serves as a solid foundation for a gifted and talented solo career to be built upon.
