Dom Dirtee is best known for his innovative art and design for Hip Hop’s most well-respected artists such as Mobb Deep/Prodigy, Redman, Gang Starr, Sean Price, The Alchemist, Statik Selektah, Roc Marciano & many more. Born and raised in Waterbury, CT on the line where Hot 97 cuts off, he’s proud to call Brooklyn home for the last 15 years. Influenced by the Hip Hop greats and classic psych rock, he takes pride in originality and making music from scratch. Very few know him for making beats…until now.

His latest visual Kill Switch Feat Lil Fame and Teflon (of M.O.P.) isn’t concept driven but captures the essence of the artist’s raw abilities. “It’s Lil Fame & Teflon doing what they do, and that’s authentic, tough as nails bars. I think that the beat I gave them really meshed well with their personalities and you can feel the energy in the end result” says Dom. The video is directed by Watsyn Filmz & Dom himself and filmed in some grimy locations in Brooklyn with great special effects like fire, ground breaking, sparks, and more. The track is the lead single off his debut LP The Hardcore Composer which began in 2018 when Dom returned to production after a long hiatus. “I was in a really bad place mentally for a long time and wasn’t feeling making art, but making music was one of the only things that made me happy, so I just kept doing it” says Dom. With assistance from Termanology and his network, he was able to craft a bang-up ten song project produced entirely by himself.
