Massachusetts rapper/streetwear owner J Gramz is a survivor who has endured the streets, addiction, incarceration, and mental health. Inspired by the pain and the hope that his music can help someone feel less alone, he looks to motivate those from the very bottom to the top.
His latest video Anti Social is shot by SMxKE Skreen Vizuals and features Quincy MA’s multi talented Hush Harding. The track serves as a major theme on his debut LP Dual Diagnosis speaking to the singular world people live in these days. “People are being hypnotized by their phones and tvs. The world and society has truly made us anti social people” says Gramz. The lyrics also touch upon people who have wronged him and dealing with that trauma. “I was really still struggling letting go of past transgressions from my “so called friends and brothers” and I was really struggling to let other people past arms length” say Gramz. Ironically the end result after a therapeutic album making process was a productive working relationship with now business parter Hush Harding.
