Southern NH producer Kane Major began making beats in the late 90s on an Ensoniq ASR-10. A love of music was instilled at an early age from his parents record collection and frequent live concerts. He later co-founded the group Soular Prominence (formerly Soular Winds) with Yusuf Abdul-Mateen & Al-J of Blak Madeen, B-One, and DJ Emoh Betta. The group performed all around New England opening up for Lupe Fiasco, Kool Keith, Murs, U-God (Wu Tang Clan), and more. Influenced heavily by mid 90’s Hip Hop artists and fashion like De La Soul, Tribe Called Quest, Wu Tang, baggy jeans, Clarks, and more; Kane’s music is a tribute to the culture he grew up listening to.

His latest Beat Tape project showcases a wide range of styles including Electronic and New Wave sounds while staying true to his golden era roots. “Had fun making these tracks collected over the past year” says Kane.
