O Dawg aka O.D is a rapper who hails from the Flatbush section of Brooklyn with strong roots in Brownsville. His earliest encounter with Hip Hop began with his older brother Rim (Davillins, Sean Price) who taught him the fundamentals and would encourage him to write at an early age. O’s career began in 2016 with the release of his first song titled Grandslam and soon followed that up with numerous projects and videos including a premiere on Duck Down’s YouTube Channel for Vitamin Water FT Rim. In addition he has performed at a number of venues throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan including SOBS, The Delancey, Chelsea Music Hall, Knitting Factory, and other high profile nightclubs and bars.
His latest STUDENT OF THE GAME LP is the most vulnerable project to date with him speaking upon some touchy subjects in life. Produced entirely by NJ’s Grimm Doza, the goal was to push boundaries with the sound and expand his fan base. “STUDENT OF THE GAME IS LIKE MY INTRODUCTION INTO THE INDUSTRY, HENCE THE TITLE.
