Rite Hook returns with visuals for his latest Rock/Rap single Trust The Pain. The video is directed by Rose Glen using self-recorded IPhone footage. The original idea was meant to be just a lyric video but after a few edits it was clear that this needed to be more atypical. “I decided to have Hook shoot some footage on his own; then I edited that and combined it with lyrics. I just felt like leveling the playing field would resonate with people right now. Everybody has a phone and we’re all stuck in this situation together” says Rose Glen.
The result is an out of the ordinary music video that keeps your attention and the artist’s integrity during a quarantine. “During a global crisis and lock down you do what you can do to stay creative” says Rite Hook.
