Capture lightning in a bottle, add booming Hip Hop beats that slap, rattle some speakers, mix in some original and deeply sincere lyricism, shake it up and what you get is Ty Hunt. The Brockton MA rapper started his career at age 12 and began recording and performing in the Massachusetts music scene before almost losing his life in a tragic car accident that left him in a coma for several months. Surviving his walk with death, the emcee emerged from the other side committed to elevating his craft. After completing his debut album Holy Mania on Dead Eyez Records, he toured across the country from the east coast to west. Just like the long dormant volcano Mount Kilimanjaro, Ty has been waiting for the right moment to explode onto the national music radar with music hotter than lava. That moment is now.
His latest visual Bad Mamma Jamma is an entertaining affair directed by Sando Films and produced by Lil Dbooo. “The inspiration for this song came from the beat and some girl I met on Tinder. I started thinking about ideas for the video and chicken fights, volleyball, whiffle ball, and a pool party came to mind” says Ty. The video displays Ty’s playfulness and ability to have fun with Hip Hop. Check it out now on Youtube and your preferred digital streaming provider.
